On January 28th, Arrowmen from across NE-6A and NE-6B gathered at Carroll Community College in Westminster, Maryland for a day of premier training. This marked the third annual training event co-hosted by both NE-6A and NE-6B, which began in 2015.
Congratulations to the Northeast region lodges who were awarded the E. Urner Goodman Camping Award, Order of the Arrow Innovation Award and the National Service Award in 2016!
As one first joins the Order of the Arrow (OA) , they typically strive to seal their brotherhood within the order, as soon as they are eligible. However, one man, Mr. Glenn Macey of Ajapeu 351 did not. In fact he waited 47 years before he decided to finally seal his brotherhood. On July 20th 1969, as the world watched Neil Armstrong make his giant leap for mankind on their television screens, Glenn Macey went through his Ordeal.
When selected to be an Arrowman, a Scout displays that he has an aptitude for leadership and service. The Order of the Arrow recognizes that there is much leadership potential among Arrowmen and the National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is designed to enhance the leadership skills for both youth and adult Arrowmen.
